Philosophy

Valley Day School's governing board of directors believes that it is the responsibility of Valley Day School to provide enrolled students with educational opportunities and experiences, programs, methodologies, and related services — conforming with each student's current individualized educational plan — which will enable each student to develop their talents and capabilities. The board believes that by doing this in conformity with board policy, state law, and federal law, Valley Day school will enable students to assume their responsibe roles in a democratic society.
