In 2019, Valley Day School partnered with Snipe’s Farm and Entertainment Center in Morrisville, Pennsylvania to establish an organic garden and orchard on our property. 

The organic garden features a number of seasonal vegetables and flowers. Every spring, with the help of Snipe's Farm and VDS teachers, our students plant and start the seeds from within the classrooms. Once the seeds are ready, we transplant them to the full garden and the students care for the plants throughout the year.

In our organic garden, Snipe's Farm planted a variety of fruit trees, berry bushes, and herbs that are tended by the students on a regular basis. Our students often have the pleasure of enjoying the fruits of our garden and have learned to eat natural unprocessed snacks.
