In 2017, The Home Depot donated materials and labor to help create a small, serenity park for Valley Day School.

Our serenity park is located just a short walk from our main building, on our beautiful 13-acre property. The park is used to help students learn and apply wellness tools for emotional management. The park consists of beautiful seating areas surrounded by decorative plants, trees, and boulders with a calming water feature. 

In the middle of the serenity park, there is a labyrinth hand-painted by VDS students. The serenity garden is surrounded by benches and picnic tables, located under shade trees throughout the grounds.
