The provision of transition services is an integral part of the academic program at Valley Day School.  Approximately half of the students in the Upper School participate in placement activities scheduled through our Transition Office.

Our goal at Valley Day School is to provide students the chance to become acquainted with a wide range of occupational and educational opportunities available to them on and off campus. There are a variety of options accessible to students that can be either paid or unpaid.

Available services can range from one hour a week to four days per week depending on the needs of the student. All experiences are scheduled and closely supervised by our vocational job coordinators.
